I saw this on digg and although the entry is too long to post, I’ll just list the 10 reasons.

Reason #10 – Most Of Your Accomplishments Are Invisible
Reason #9 – Every Conversation You Have Is Roughly The Same
Reason #8 – You’re An Expert Of Bleeding-Edge Technology Products, Aren’t You?
Reason #7 – Your Talents Are Forcibly Undervalued
Reason #6 – You’re Never Allowed A Moment’s Peace
Reason #5 – People Ask You To Perform Miracles
Reason #4 – Your Assumed “All-Knowing” Status Sets You Up To Let People Down
Reason #3 – You Possess Unlimited Responsibility
Reason #2 – A Life Of Alienation
Reason #1 – You Have No Identity

I can relate to some of these reasons when I was working in IT and had a huge interest in computing. Lately though I feel as my interest in computers is declining. In the fast two months, I don’t think I tinkered with the machines I have. With the new job, I figured I blow some of my money on new hardware or a laptop, but I’ve even been reluctant with that.

I’m in search for a new hobby =P

Heroes

NBC Heroes is a great show. I thought this quote from last night’s episode was worth noting about two life paths:

To be truly happy, a man must live absolutely in the present and with no thought with what’s gone on before, and no thought of what lies ahead. But a life of meaning, a man is condemned to wallow in the past and obsess about the future.

Things have already begun to shift and I’m no longer standing still.  I can now move forward.

Welcome to 2007

Happy belated New Year!

Although I have reflected on the year that has past, I chose not to write about it.

Random quote: ”If you are not moving forward, you are going backwards.”
I believe this will become an important notion that I will need to keep in mind for the new year.

it’s a waiting game now…

I’ll never know.
