hey, i know this question is right out of the blue, but are you by chance the person who set up http://www.threekingdoms.com? if you are i have a question concerning your site.
here, i’ll just ask the question. some friends of mine want to do a study of Romance of the Three Kingdoms similar to the study done on http://www.threekingdoms.com. so i completely wrote the software from the ground up to mimic http://www.threekingdoms.com. i sent an email to the contact address asking for permission to use the translation material provided on the site. i’m not sure the book can be copyrighted anyway, but i want to give credit where credit is due since we’re getting the translation from that site and none of us had to type it in.
if you are the Khang Nguyen from that site could i please have official permission to use your content from that site? i won’t use any of the notes or other materials. just the book.
to be honest, if the study actually ever takes off and amounts to anything more than us just goofing off i’ll be very surprised. reading ROTK has given me a great deal of pleasure - i read it on http://www.threekingdoms.com first - and i now own the Moss Roberts translation as well.
also, if you are the Khang Nguyen from the site it would be cool to have you come by and check out the site. we’re a bunch of cynical goof offs, but we have fun.

Hey Tim,
Sorry I’m not the person who created that website.
